Robert Snodgrass is enjoying life in the Championship after leaving West Ham to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan.

Aston Villa loanee Robert Snodgrass continued to regain his best form on Wednesday night as he scored one and provided another against Preston North End – and West Ham United fans reacted on Twitter.
Snodgrass, 30, was the architect of Aston Villa’s impressive 2-0 away win at Deepdale, as he swung in an inch-perfect corner for James Chester who headed home to give Steve Bruce’s side the lead.
The former Leeds United and Norwich City ace then scored himself, his second of the season for Villa, with a neat finish after Jonathan Kodjia latched onto a mistake by Preston’s Ben Pearson.
The Scotland international was given little opportunity at West Ham last season, as he was brought in by Slaven Bilic to replace the loss of Dimitri Payet. But two assists and 0 goals in 15 games for the Hammers saw him loaned out.
West Ham fans took to Twitter after Snodgrass continued his fine form against Preston, with many saying that perhaps their side did not give the versatile attacker enough chances to shine at the London Stadium. One fan even tweeted co-owner David Gold, stating he “needs to be recalled”.
