Pablo Fornals signed for West Ham United last month.

West Ham United fans on Twitter are congratulating Pablo Fornals for becoming a European champion.
Fornals, who set the Irons back some £24 million this summer, helped Spain Under-21s win Euro 2019 with a 2-1 win over Germany in Italy last night.
The 23-year-old wasn’t among the goals, but he did play 72 minutes and both of his country’s goals were scored during his time on the field.
The West Ham new boy has been impressive throughout the entire tournament, and Sky Sports pundit Liam Rosenior claimed last night that the Hammers made a masterstroke in signing him before the competition kicked off.
Here’s how fans of the East London club reacted to his heroics:
Fornals played five games in the tournament, scoring two and setting up another.
He is one of only three signings by Manuel Pellegrini so far – the other two being Roberto and David Martin, both goalkeepers – but by next May the Spanish maestro might be looked upon in the same way people viewed Lukasz Fabianski last season following a phenomenal first year in East London.
Pellegrini’s side kick off their Premier League campaign with the visit of reigning champions Manchester City on August 10.
