West Ham face Tottenham after the international break.

West Ham United star Declan Rice has told the club’s official website discussed facing rivals Tottenham Hotspur after the international break after the Hammers suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss to Brighton.
Rice, 19, has started the last four Premier League matches for West Ham, including the wins over Manchester United and Everton as well as the loss to Brighton on Friday night.
Glenn Murray’s first-half strike was the difference for Chris Hughton’s side as the Seagulls earned another win at The Amex against West Ham, a match which saw Brighton win 3-0 in the same fixture last season.
Next up for West Ham after the international break is the challenge of Tottenham at the London Stadium on October 20, and Rice is looking forward to the prospect though he realises the threat Mauricio Pochettino’s side poses.
“We’ve got to be positive, go again and obviously it’s Spurs next,” Rice said. “Spurs is always a massive game, we had some great results against them last season and we’ve got two weeks now where we need to fight and be ready to get back to winning ways and three points.”
Rice has starred for a player of just 19 years of age this season, but his contract in east London remains up for discussion, with the Evening Standard stating the Hammers have offered Rice a final chance of staying at West Ham.

The new offer is believed to be £21,000 a week, £5,000 salary increase after every game and a bonus of £20,000 every time he starts a Premier League fixture.
West Ham fans have reacted to his comments about rivals Tottenham by urging the club to offer him a new contract as soon as possible on Twitter.
