West Ham have been linked with a number of Premier League midfielders this month.
West Ham United have been linked with a whole host of Premier League central midfielders this month with the most recent being Arsenal outcast Mohamed Elneny – and fans are largely keen to see David Moyes land the Egyptian.
The Daily Mail claim West Ham are interested in the former FC Basel midfielder, as well as Sunderland flop Didier Ndong, as Moyes looks to add depth to his Hammers midfield.
The two latest names join the likes of Bournemouth’s Harry Arter, Arsenal’s Francis Coquelin and Newcastle’s Jonjo Shelvey in all being reported as possible recruits at the London Stadium this month.
Elneny, 25, has plummeted down Arsene Wenger’s midfield pecking order this season with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere and even Coquelin ahead of him.
Now, West Ham could look to end his Arsenal misery, which has see him make just six Premier League appearances all season for the north Londoners. West Ham fans are largely in agreement that Elneny would be worth signing.
One fan claimed that Elneny would be “worth a punt at around £6million.”
