West Ham are yet to bring in a new signing to the London Stadium this month.

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin is set to complete a move to Spanish side Valencia after the north Londoners agreed a £12million fee with the La Liga club according to Sky Sports – and West Ham fans are relieved on Twitter.
The report states 26-year-old Coquelin has decided to try his luck in Spain, rejecting offers from West Ham and Crystal Palace to remain in the Premier League after he fell down the pecking order at the Emirates.
The likes of Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka and Jack Wilshere all remain above the former Lorient and Charlton midfielder, who is known for his tough tackling at the base of the midfield as well as his intricate array of passing.

West Ham have been linked with a whole host of central midfielders this month, including the likes of Newcastle United pass master Jonjo Shelvey, Bournemouth workhorse Harry Arter and Stoke City playmaker Joe Allen.
Coquelin was one of the more recent links, and West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to criticise their club as they have failed to pull off a deal that would see the Frenchman journey across London from north to east.
The majority of fans are relieved that they did not sign Coquelin, with one fan saying “he’s the last thing we need”.
