Sky Sports have claimed that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season when his contract expires – and West Ham fans want him to move to east London.

The 27-year-old was told over the weekend that he would not be offered a new contract by Arsenal, despite being considered one of the Premier League’s best midfielders.

Since joining Arsenal from Cardiff City back in 2008, Ramsey has gone on to make 343 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners. He has scored 60 goals, and created another 60.

The Sun claimed earlier this season that Arsenal were inches away from agreeing a new £250,000-a-week deal for the Gunners’ longest-serving player, but talks broke down.

Now, it seems as though Arsenal are set to wave goodbye to another of Arsene Wenger’s signings, after offloading the likes of Jack Wilshere, Lucas Perez and Santi Cazorla in the summer window.

West Ham fans reacted in their drones to the news that Ramsey was set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season on a free transfer, and London Stadium supporters are desperate for their club to raid Arsenal once again.

Having already signed Wilshere and Perez from the Gunners, West Ham could be tempted to re-enter the market for Ramsey as they continue to struggle without Manuel Lanzini. Fans encouraged the idea on Twitter.
