West Ham United fans have been unhappy enough recently, as the sale of Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion has infuriated many.
The Hammers have offloaded one of their top young prospects in a controversial sale, and fans are yet to see any new faces come in this summer.
West Ham fans may feel it can’t get much worse, but one of their former players could have turned out for a Premier League rival.
Le10 Sport reported earlier this week that Leeds United made a move to sign Dimitri Payet, but he ended up choosing to stay with Marseille instead.
Payet, 33, was a favourite of Bielsa at Marseille, and the Argentinian seemingly wanted a reunion following Leeds’ return to the top flight.
The Frenchman was a Premier League star at West Ham having joined from Marseille in 2015, but he left in January 2017 to return to Marseille.

Payet left acrimoniously, but he was just so talented that Hammers fans still love him – and some took to Twitter to urge the club to try and bring him back if Leeds still have a chance.
Others admitted that it would break their hearts if Payet played for another Premier League club, and feel it would just hurt too much.
