Everton’s Andre Gomes was instrumental during his side’s win over West Ham at the London Stadium yesterday, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter to praise the Portuguese ace’s display.
The 25-year-old joined the Toffees from Barcelona on a season-long loan in the summer, and he has gone on to make 25 appearances in all competitions for Marco Silva’s side, racking up a single goal and two assists in the process.
Gomes has impressed on the most part this term, but his performance against West Ham yesterday was of another level entirely, and he received high praise from fans and pundits alike.
Whether the Portugal international will be snapped up permanently by Blues boss Marco Silva in the summer, however, remains to be seen, with his value continuing to rise.
