West Ham United beat Southampton 2-1 on Thursday night.

West Ham United take on Burnley in the Premier League today, and whilst Felipe Anderson has been making headlines, he may not even be their best signing.
The Hammers beat Southampton on Thursday night, as after Nathan Redmond opened the scoring for the Saints, Anderson took over.
The Brazilian hit two goals in six minutes to give West Ham a 2-1 win, and has earned major praise from fans and pundits after another electrifying display.
However, Anderson has competition for the accolade of West Ham’s best summer signing, as goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is starring.
West Ham swooped to sign Fabianski from relegated Swansea City over the summer, and some were a little worried about the veteran Pole and whether he was really a big enough upgrade.

Formerly of Arsenal, Fabianski has completely erased all of those fears. He has been outstanding in goal for West Ham this season, and produced another super display against Southampton.
Fans took to Twitter after Thursday’s game to hail Fabianski, calling him ‘ridiculous’ and ‘different gravy’, with others backing him for Hammer of the Year, whilst one fan suggested he may already be the best West Ham goalkeeper for many, many years.
