West Ham fans have been reacting on Twitter after watching Manuel Lanzini prove to be one of the real stars of the show during their hugely important and impressive 2-0 win over Leicester that ensures that the Hammers will be playing in the Premier League again next season.

David Moyes’ men went into the contest off the back of two 4-1 defeats, and with the bottom of the table looking extremely congested, it was imperative that they picked up a positive result against the Foxes.

But, just as they did when the pressure was heaped on against Southampton in March, the Irons shone in some style, picking up a 2-0 win at the King Power Stadium thanks to goals from Joao Mario and Mark Noble.

There were impressive performances all over the pitch, but perhaps one of the most eye-catching came from Lanzini. It has been a difficult spell for the Argentinian, with his last league goals coming all the way back in January.

He may not have scored against the Foxes, but he looked to be back to his best, causing the home side’s defence a whole host of problems – and that has seen a large number of West Ham supporters heap praise upon the playmaker.

It was suggested that he deserves a new deal while one supporter claimed that the 25-year-old is simply too good for the Irons given the quality that he possesses. And they were all in agreement that he was superb in the victory.
