West Ham United’s squad is currently decimated by injuries to some of their key players.

West Ham have really struggled this season, and they currently sit in 12th spot in the Premier League table, after beginning the campaign with so much optimism.

The Hammers’ chances of succeeding this term have been greatly hampered, however, by a lengthy list of injuries to some of their key players.

Some West Ham fans have a theory as to why they have so many players currently on the treatment table, and they took to Twitter to air their concerns…

West Ham’s training facilities are undoubtedly up there with the worst in the Premier League, but having players who are well-renowned for their injury problems, such as Jack Wilshere and Andy Carroll, certainly hasn’t helped matters.

If the Hammers want to make genuine progress over the next few years, upgrading their Rush Green training facilities really must be one of their top priorities.

Until that happens, however, West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will continue to work with one hand tied behind his back, as a top seven finish continues to slip further away from his side’s grasp.
