West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after seeing what Saïd Benrahma did to Kalvin Phillips in the 2-1 win over Leeds.

In the 30th minute, the Algeria international completely bamboozled the England international with numerous stepovers at Elland Road.

Phillips, usually so strong in the tackle and adept at reading the game, had no idea which way the former Brentford maestro was going to go.

Sadly, the 25-year-old couldn’t find a pass after his wonderful piece of skill. Benrahma attempted to slot Pablo Fornals through on goal, but the ball trickled through to Illan Meslier.

Despite his lack of end product, West Ham fans on Twitter still took plenty of enjoyment from seeing their new No.9’s mesmeric piece of trickery.

That wasn’t the only incident in which Benrahma showed off his skills.

As SofaScore shows, the Aïn Témouchent-born attacker completed three successful dribbles against Marcelo Bielsa’s men.

He also came close to opening his West Ham account with a few long-range curlers, on an evening where he looked very, very dangerous and lively.

Benrahma’s skill would be impressive regardless.

However, it was even more noteworthy seeing as he performed it against arguably one of England’s best defensive midfielders.

Let’s see what the Hammers fans on Twitter have been saying about it…
