West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after The Evening Standard revealed that Said Benrahma will become the Hammers’ third signing of the window.

A deal for the Algeria international briefly stalled due to an issue between Brentford and the forward’s agent, but that has now been resolved.

As a result, the Irons can now push on and complete their £30 million deal for the mercurial attacker – The Evening Standard add that £25 million will be paid upfront.

The report also states that more complications were caused with the deal while Benrahma was away in the Netherlands on international duty with Algeria.

The Brentford star will help add depth to David Moyes’ flanks, after they were significantly weakened by the departures of Felipe Anderson and Grady Diangana.

West Ham have until 5pm on Friday to complete the deal before the domestic deadline arrives.

The Evening Standard write that he will become the club’s third signing, following the arrival of Vladimir Coufal and the season-long loan capture of Craig Dawson.
