Ki has been linked with a move to West Ham as part of a swap deal.
Sky Sports have claimed West Ham United have enquired over the availability of including Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yueng in a deal that will see Andre Ayew return to the Liberty Stadium – but West Ham fans are not impressed.
Swansea have offered West Ham a huge £18million to re-sign Ghana international Ayew, who left the Swans in the summer of 2016 to move to east London. However, the Hammers want to recuperate the entire £20million they paid for him.
It is reported that West Ham will allow the former Marseille attacker to move to Swansea if West Ham’s valuation of £20million is met, but David Moyes has another bargaining tool up his sleeve.
Moyes is desperate to sign a central midfielder this summer, with moves for Joe Allen, Harry Arter, Jonjo Shelvey and Morgan Schneiderlin failing thus far. Now, 88-time South Korea international Ki is the latest name to be considered.
West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to give their verdict on the Swansea set-piece specialist, with the majority in agreement that the 29-year-old’s stuttering Premier League form is not good enough for the Hammers.
One fan described Ki as “pony”, while another stated “we really are desperate”.
