Manchester United may be out of the race for West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic.

It didn’t come as a surprise to many, but the story everybody is talking about today surrounds Manchester United’s decision to sack Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho’s side were woeful in the 3-1 defeat at Liverpool on Sunday, and in truth, it could and arguably should have been even more convincing than 3-1.
With the Red Devils 11 points off top four, 18 points behind Manchester City and 19 points behind league leaders Liverpool, United have made the decision to sack Mourinho and look elsewhere.
Many fans around the country are poking fun at Mourinho and United, and one fanbase who should be happier than most is that of West Ham United.
The reason? Well, recent reports from The Mirror suggested that Mourinho wanted to bring Hammers forward Marko Arnautovic to Old Trafford in January, having worked together at Inter Milan.
Arnautovic, 29, has been a star for West Ham over the last year, and after hitting 11 goals last term, he has been superb this season with five goals to his name..

Mourinho was driving United’s interest in Arnautovic, and with the Portuguese now out of the picture, West Ham fans may be able to rest easy about the Austrian’s future in January.
Arnautovic is injured right now, but there now appears to be a great chance that he stays at the London Stadium next month, with United seemingly ruled out as a potential destination in light of Mourinho’s sacking.
