Slaven Bilic is under pressure to produce a result against Swansea on Saturday.
Bournemouth’s Joshua King celebrates scoring their first goal as West Ham United’s Darren Randolph reacts
Slaven Bilic is under real pressure at West Ham United, and with a crunch game against Swansea City this weekend, it could be do or die against their relegation rivals.
And some fans have taken issue with one of the regular players in the starting lineup on social media. Darren Randolph has been in poor form as of late there are suggestions it could be time for Adrian to take his opportunity to play his part in saving West Ham’s season, and possibly Bilic’s job.
Republic of Ireland international Randolph has conceded 37 premier league goals this season, keeping only three clean sheets.
He has conceded three or more goals in three of his past five Premier League games.
Adrian last played for West Ham in their 5-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup in January and the Spaniard hasn’t played in the Premier League since a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in August.
But West Ham have not won a Premier League game for over two months, with their last victory coming away to Southampton in February, so clearly there needs to be changes.
With the fight to avoid relegation heating up and teams around them hitting form and picking up points, it is vital that Bilic finds a means to mend their defensive frailties.
Could restoring Adrian to the first team be part of the answer? The fans seem to think so.
