Joel Robles was released by Everton earlier this summer.

Joel Robles has confirmed on Instagram that he has signed for La Liga side Real Betis following his release from Premier League outfit Everton – and West Ham United duo Adrian and Pedro Obiang have reacted on Instagram.
The 28-year-old stopper failed to earn himself a new contract at Goodison Park, five years after first signing for Everton back in 2013 from Wigan Athletic – which saw Roberto Martinez sign him for a second time.
Now, he has signed a four-year deal with La Liga side Betis, and took to Instagram to confirm the deal, five years on after joining the Toffees which saw Robles clock up 65 appearances in all competitions.
Robles spent the 17-18 campaign as Jordan Pickford’s back-up goalkeeper, as the Toffees gave first-team duties to the England number one after he joined Everton for £30million from Sunderland last summer.
It remains to be seen if Robles will be first choice at Betis, with the La Liga outfit also bringing in former Tottenham Hotspur loanee Pau Lopez on a free transfer from Espanyol.
West Ham duo Pedro Obiang and former Betis goalkeeper Adrian commented on Robles’ Instagram, with both players wishing “mucha suerte” or “good luck” to Robles.
