Fabian Balbuena has settled extremely quickly to life at West Ham.

West Ham have had a difficult set of fixtures to begin the Premier League season, but a number of players have still managed to show their quality during a tough run.
The Hammers have bounced back from four consecutive losses in the league to beat Everton, before earning a goalless draw at home to Chelsea at the weekend.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side may have leaked 11 league goals already, but new centre-back Fabian Balbuena has still looked an impressive signing and was a man mountain against Chelsea.
The 6ft 2in enforcer has played every league minute so far and has quickly adapted to life in England, with his physical strength making him a great fit.
After the opening six games, Balbuena now has a league-high record of 18 interceptions so far and that is something that proves his value to the side.

He is a 27-year-old Paraguay international entering the peak years of his career and is proving his ability to read the play well.
Balbuena has the potential to become a real leader at the London Stadium and it will be interesting to see how his partnership in defence alongside Issa Diop develops moving forward.
