The Hammers academy star has signed his first professional contract with the Premier League club.

West Ham United have announced that academy star Sean Adarkwa has signed his first professional contract with the East London club.
The 18-year-old striker has impressed this term just gone, breaking into the Hammers Under-23s while still a second-year scholar, and has been rewarded with a one-year deal.
According to the official West Ham website, Adarkwa made 10 appearances in Premier League 2 in 2018-19 and scored against Swansea City and Manchester City, as well as having trained with the first team on occasion.
Having worked with academy coach Carlton Cole, the teenager’s main attributes – according to the official website – are holding the ball up and bringing his teammates into play, being strong in the air and having an eye for goal.
