There is a buzz around West Ham United since the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini.

West Ham wanted to go in a different direction this summer and have shelled out more than ever before on a manager to bring Pellegrini in as David Moyes’ replacement.
Hammers co-owner David Gold has pledged the club will be spending more than ever before too, in an effort to finally make good on promises made when the club left Upton Park for the London Stadium in Stratford.
The appointment has excited the majority of West Ham’s fans who want to see better quality, attacking football.
Supporters hope Pellegrini can attract a higher calibre of player when he rehapes the Hammers squad this summer.

And West Ham cult hero Carlton Cole, who is now working closely with the club, believes fans are in for a treat after dropping a hint that he knows what the club are planning in the transfer window in an interview with whufc.com.
“It’s exciting times,” Cole told the club’s official website.
“We’ve got a world-class manager, one of the best in the Premier League now in my opinion. We know what his credentials are and what he can bring to the table, he’s obviously got the full support of the Board and the backing to help him take the Club to the next level.
“He is going to be attracting a few top players that he wants to fit into the team now. He may let a few go and let a few in. His money is going to be spent wisely.
“I think he needs to galvanise the team he has already got and then add a few players who can bring different angles to the team, and help approach the style of play he wants.”

Pellegrini has already insisted he ‘always plays attacking football’.
That will be music to the ears of West Ham fans who, bar one exciting season under Slaven Bilic, have had to endure a more pragmatic – and often negative – style for much of the last decade under the likes of Avram Grant, Sam Allardyce and David Moyes.
It looks like West Ham are in for some entertaining football and exciting signings in the coming years.
