The Southampton winger is exactly the kind of player who West Ham United should be targeting this summer.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic faces an incredibly important couple of months ahead of him, as he looks to improve his squad so that they are capable of mounting a Europa League challenge next season.
One particular area where the Croatian will want to strengthen is in the attacking wide positions, with Robert Snodgrass having failed to make an impact since his arrival at the London Stadium in January, following Dimitri Payet’s acrimonious exit from the club.
Southampton’s Dusan Tadic in action
A useful option for West Ham could be Saints winger Dusan Tadic, and they could use the 29-year-old Scotland international as bait to help sweeten any kind of potential deal for the Serbian.
The 28-year-old Southampton star has showcased his incredible talent during his spell in England, and despite an underwhelming campaign for Claude Puel’s men last term, he still has a lot to offer at the very highest level.
The former FC Twente man moved to St Mary’s in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be in the region of £10.9 million, and the Saints would surely expect some kind of transfer fee, along with Snodgrass in return, should they decide to sell one of their best attacking players.
Tadic has a certain kind of playing style that is direct in nature, and remarkably hard to defend against. This would offer Bilic something entirely different to what is currently available to him.

The 43-capped Serbia international can be deployed anywhere along the front-line, and his potential arrival in East London would help ease the creative burden on Manuel Lanzini’s shoulders.
Saints fans have become used to their club selling their best assets, so it would come as no surprise to them to see Tadic leave this summer, but at least the blow would be softened with the arrival of a seasoned international like Snodgrass.
Tadic would undoubtedly be an upgrade on what they already have in wide attacking areas, and West Ham should do everything they can to make a deal happen.
