The Frenchman would be an excellent addition for West Ham United.

Manuel Pellegrini failed to bring any new players to West Ham on transfer deadline day on Thursday, but they still have an opportunity to strengthen.
The Hammers can still sign free agents, and one particular player who might appeal to them is Yohan Cabaye, especially with so many midfielders currently injured and unavailable for selection.
The 48-capped former France international, 33, is a superb passer of the football, and he has the ability to dictate the tempo of the game from the deep-lying midfield position – something that the east London outfit sometimes lack in midfield.
Cabaye would be an excellent addition for West Ham, and he would undoubtedly help Pellegrini’s side improve upon the fluidity of their play through the middle of the park.
Bringing him to the London Stadium would also involve little risk, given the fact that he is available on a free transfer.
The former Newcastle United and Crystal Palace man also has extensive experience of playing in the Premier League – something that cannot be underestimated.

West Ham currently sit just four points adrift of the top seven, and bringing someone in with Cabaye’s quality really could make all the difference for them during the final third of their campaign.
Whether Pellegrini has the same outlook on the situation, however, remains to be seen.
