Signing Pablo Fornals could give West Ham United an incredible midfield trio.

AS in Spain reported today that West Ham United could announce the signing of Pablo Fornals any day now.
The Irons are supposed to be on the verge of wrapping up a £25 million deal for the Spanish midfielder.
And if and when he signs, West Ham could potentially have a serious midfield next season.
Manuel Pellegrini may be able to set up a midfield-three of Fornals, Declan Rice and Jack Wilshere which, on paper, is a fine triumvirate.
Yes, Wilshere spent much of his debut season in East London on the treatment table, but he’s a superb midfielder when fit and the prospect of him alongside Fornals and Rice for most of the 2019-20 campaign is a very enticing one indeed.
Rice had a glittering season last time around and, despite only being 20, he’ll get a lot better.
With Fornals – who has bagged 19 assists for Villarreal over the past two seasons – as the most advanced midfielder, Pellegrini could have an exceptional trident and that’s the most exciting thing about Fornals.
Keeping Wilshere fit is the big thing here, but if the East Londoners keep him healthy then there’s no telling what he and the other two could drive Pellegrini’s side to next term.
