West Ham United have endured a tough start to the season but they could turn the corner this weekend against Newcastle.

The Hammers lost 4-0 on the opening day to Manchester United and 3-2 to Southampton last time out.
After being backed by David Sullivan and David Gold in the transfer market with the arrival of Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez, Slaven is already feeling the pressure.
The Mirror claim the Hammers board are already drawing up contingency plans.
But there could be some real light at the end of the tunnel this week as the Hammers may well have an entirely new look by the time they face Rafa Benitez’s Magpies in a crunch clash at St James’ Park on Saturday.
The likes of Mark Noble, Andre Ayew and Jose Fonte simply cannot continue to hold down a place in the starting line-up on current form.

Injuries
While the Hammers will be without Winston Reid and Marko Arnautovic through injury and suspension respectively they look set to welcome back three crucial players in the shape of Manuel Lanzini, Cheikhou Kouyate and even Geordie boy Andy Carroll.
Add that to the comebacks of Michail Antonio and Diafra Sakho and suddenly Bilic has some real selection headaches and a hugely strengthened spine.

Potential new signing
West Ham have been linked with a club record move for William Carvalho and speculation is rife that they could complete a deal this week.
Whether that comes in time for the game remains to be seen but West Ham could well have the classy Portugal midfielder lining up alongside Lanzini and Kouyate with Sakho alongside Antonio and Chicharito up front.
Formation
Most Hammers fans feel the team is better suited to a back three than a back four and indeed the statistics support that theory.
That could see fans’ favourite James Collins come back into the fold to replace the hapless Jose Fonte with the hugely impressive Declan Rice and Angelo Ogbonna completing the back three.
That would give Zabaleta and Aaron Cresswell more licence to roam down the flanks and provide service for the likes of Hernandez, Sakho and then later Carroll coming off the bench.
