West Ham United first-team coach Edin Terzic speaks highly of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
West Ham United first-team coach Edin Terzic has told the club’s official website why the media in England will love Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp has been appointed as the new Liverpool manager and has succeeded Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
The German is a charismatic figure, and Terzic, who worked as a scout and coach under him at Borussia Dortmund, has explained why the media will love him.
“He is definitely going to bring some real excitement to this league,” the 32-year-old told West Ham’s official website.
“I think the media guys are going to love him because he is very intelligent, he is funny and he is very successful.”
Klopp has already made a positive impression on the media in England following his first press conference as Liverpool manager on Friday morning.
The 48-year-old, though, will find it tough to achieve success with Liverpool, especially as he will not be able to add to what is a largely average squad until January.
There is a buzz around Anfield and Liverpool fans have renewed optimism following the arrival of former Mainz coach Klopp, but the ‘honeymoon period’ will not last long.
