West Ham United co-owner David Gold and Twitter are usually a volatile mix but not this time.

Gold, his fellow co-owner David Sullivan and their vice-chairman Karren Brady have maintained a much lower profile at West Ham this season.
Supporters protested against the trio last season over a range of issues from broken promises regarding the move to the London Stadium and transfer spending to their very public profiles.
Hammers fans grew fed up of seeing the trio air club business in the public domain through interviews, newspaper columns and on social media.
Gold was one of the worst culprits, particularly on Twitter, where he has caused a stir in the past with messages which have gone out to his near 200,000 followers.
He has been a lot quieter this season after taking fan criticism on board, a move which also saw Manuel Pellegrini appointed and backed with unprecedented transfer funds of more than £100 million.
Gold looks to have won fans over with his latest post, though, if the reaction from West Ham supporters on Twitter is anything to go by.

The co-owner posted a picture of injured playmaker Manuel Lanzini embracing him at the London Stadium during the weekend game against Chelsea.
“Manuel Lanzini at the London Stadium for the Chelsea game yesterday,” Gold said on Twitter.
Lanzini is on the comeback trail after a serious knee injury in training with Argentina before the World Cup during the summer.
He has recently returned to East London to step up his rehabilitation but is not expected back until next year.
He is a real fans’ favourite and Gold’s post went down a storm with supporters, who reacted with some brilliant replies, a selection of which you can read below.
