West Ham co-owner stands his ground amid criticism.

West Ham co-owner David Gold has responded to a supporter who criticised himself and business partner David Sullivan.
The fan did not lay out the specifics of his complaint, but fans have been vocal in expressing their dissatisfaction over the move to the London Stadium.
The fan contacted Gold on Twitter to brand him a ‘disgrace’, which prompted the Hammers co-owner to hit back.
Gold spoke out to lecture the supporter, telling him that he will one day look back and regret sending the tweet.
Gold’s message was not meant in a menacing manner, but instead simply to convey his full belief that he and David Sullivan have always tried to make the right decisions in West Ham’s best long term interests.
It would be foolish to pretend everything is rosy concerning the London Stadium, and it does not feel like ‘home’ for West Ham supporters yet, but Gold and co are clearly hoping the complaints are merely a symptom of teething troubles, rather than irreconcilable differences.
