The West Ham forward could be out with a hamstring problem.
Marko Arnautovic has been revitalised under the guidance of David Moyes, with the Austrian attacker having produced some excellent performances in recent months.
Regularly deployed up front recently, Arnautovic has scored six goals and provided three assists in his last eight Premier League appearances, while he has also produced some excellent overall performances.
Arnautovic completed the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth last weekend but appeared to suffer a hamstring injury and there are now fears that he could be out for several weeks.
Losing Arnautovic for a significant period would be a major blow for West Ham, not just due to the quality that he possesses but because they are also currently without an important creative force in Manuel Lanzini, who is set to be out for a month with a hamstring injury of his own, as reported by The Mirror.
Being deprived of the services of both Arnautovic and Lanzini would be hugely concerning for West Ham, who still have much work to do in their battle to avoid relegation.
West Ham aren’t a side blessed with many creative talents and could be a very pedestrian side if both Arnautovic and Lanzini are out for several games.
