West Ham United are chasing a deal for Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick – but face competition from Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mirror claim that West Ham want to add Schick to their current contingent of Czech stars.

Vladimir Coufal, Tomas Soucek and Alex Kral are all at West Ham right now – and Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky has invested in the club.

With his backing, West Ham may now be able to afford a deal for Schick, which could cost a huge £40million.

Schick has excelled for Leverkusen this season. In 14 games, Schick has smashed 16 goals and three assists, living up to the early hype over him.

Now 25, Schick could be the goalscorer West Ham want to support Michail Antonio in attack.

West Ham face battle for Schick

The problem for West Ham is that other Premier League clubs are now in the race.

90Min now claim that Arsenal, Everton, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all want Schick too.

Arsenal want a new striker with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future unclear and Alexandre Lacazette soon out of contract.

Tottenham need support for Harry Kane, and Everton may be fearing that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will move on.

That means West Ham are now in a real fight for Schick, who could make a huge move in 2022.
