Juventus have reportedly joined West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the Barcelona ace.

Tottenham and West Ham’s pursuit of Barcelona ace Andre Gomes just became a whole lot more complicated, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, who claim that Juventus have entered the race to sign the Portuguese play-maker.

The Hammers and Spurs have both been long-term admirers of the 24-year-old midfielder, according to talkSPORT.

Gomes joined Barcelona from Valencia in the summer of 2016, for a fee that could eventually rise to £46 million, according to BBC Sport, but he has failed to establish himself at the Camp Nou.

The Portugal international has chalked up just three goals and four assists in 78 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giants, but it could be argued that he has not been given the sufficient opportunities to prove his worth.

Gomes could very well prove to be a useful asset for either West Ham or Tottenham, but their chances of signing him this summer appear to have received a blow today, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that Juventus are keen on bringing him to Turin.

The Old Lady are still a major draw in the game, and the Barca ace could very well be more tempted to join Max Allegri’s side, considering the fact that they are more likely to win major honours than the two English sides.
