West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked with moves for Norwich City playmaker James Maddison.

West Ham and Tottenham fans have been commenting on Twitter after James Maddison stole the headlines once again with a stunning goal that saw Norwich take home all three points from their trip to Brentford.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed an absolutely brilliant season with the Canaries. He now has eight goals for the campaign in the Championship while he has also provided five assists from attacking midfield.

Unsurprisingly, there appears to be plenty of interest in his signature. The Guardian reported recently that West Ham had made a £12 million bid for Maddison, while Tottenham are among those also keen on signing the youngster.
And after his latest contribution, it is not difficult to see why the two sides are keen on Maddison.

It took just five minutes for the starlet to score the goal that would settle the game at Griffin Park. After receiving the ball about 30 yards from goal, he nutmegged one of the Bees’ players before hitting a sumptuously powerful effort just inside the post.
The goal did not escape the attention of West Ham or Tottenham fans despite their respective clubs being in FA Cup action on the same day. And many of the supporters urged their owners to go out and sign Maddison after the goal as it appears to be a matter of time before he is a Premier League player.
Here is what the West Ham fans had to say about the goal…
And this is what the Tottenham supporters made of the strike…
