Juventus may have won a domestic double last season but Kwadwo Asamoah is still keen on leaving with West Ham and Southampton interested.
Kwadwo Asamoah is loved by Juventus fans
Any player wanting to leave Juventus after a remarkable 2016/17 campaign needs a pretty good reason. Fortunately for all-action all-rounder Kwadwo Asamoah, he has exactly that, according to Calciomercato.
The versatile Ghanaian international only made 14 Serie A starts last season as Max Allegri’s Bianconeri made history by winning the league title for a sixth successive season – a feat never before achieved in Italian football.
Alex Sandro has evolved into one of the world’s best left-backs since arriving from Porto in the summer of 2015 while Juve are hardly short of options in central midfield either – the two positions in which Asamoah has made his name.

As such, Calciomercato claim that the 28-year-old has handed in a transfer request and it’s understood that Juventus will not stand in Asamoah’s way as he aims to kick-start his career elsewhere.
After all, since moving from Udinese for around £15 million in 2012, he has been a loyal servant to the Turin giants.
Bargain of the summer
And this should spark Premier League duo West Ham and Southampton into action. Calciomercato claimed recently that they are both interested in bringing the dynamic Asamoah to England.
The 69-time international would certainly fit the bill at West Ham. Aaron Cresswell endured a difficult campaign at left-back while Arthur Masuaku is yet to convince on a regular basis.

Furthermore, Asamoah’s combative approach and skill in possession means he would be the ideal replacement for Pedro Obiang with The Sun claiming that Everton will battle AC Milan and Sevilla for the £15 million-rated midfielder.
Southampton, too, could do with reinforcements at left-back as speculation continues to swirl about the future of England international Ryan Bertrand.

Therefore, expect Asamoah to be in demand this summer.
