Hull City may be relegated but Southampton, Watford and West Ham are all keen on Marco Silva.

Hull City’s relegation from the Premier League was finally confirmed with one match to go following their 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.

It ended a brave fight from the Tigers under manager Marco Silva, who were second bottom with 13 points from 20 games when the Portuguese was appointed on January 5.

Silva only signed a deal at the KCOM Stadium until the end of the season and while many Hull fans would like to see the 39-year-old stay for their first year back in the Sky Bet Championship, speculation has already started that he will be snapped up by a top flight club.

Southampton

The Independent reports that the Saints are looking to change their boss just a year after hiring Claude Puel, with many at St Mary’s unhappy with his management in 2016/17.

Southampton has been a platform for successful Premier League bosses in recent times, with Ronald Koeman and Mauricio Pochettino in charge before Puel, and Silva would fit the bill of young and aspiring manager as those before him.

In typical Hornets style there are rumours that the owners will change the man in the dugout after just a year in charge – just as they have the previous two summers.

If Walter Mazzarri does leave then the Sun says Silva would be in the running and he would certainly have plenty to improve on, with Watford on course to finish as low as 17th this campaign.

For much of what has admittedly been a disappointing year for the Hammers, manager Slaven Bilic has been linked with the sack despite guiding the East London club to seventh the season before.

If Bilic is dismissed then the Hull Daily Mail reports Silva will be in line to succeed the Croatian, where finances would be significantly increased, but so would expectations.
