Thierry Henry told Sky Sports that Liverpool can still finish in the top-four and West Ham are ‘also there and thereabouts’.
Liverpool moved into sixth-placed on Monday night following their 1-0 win at Wolves.
The Premier League champions are five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the table, whilst West Ham, who are one place above them, are three points behind their London neighbours with a game in hand.
Arsenal legend Henry made it clear that ‘anyone can go on a run’, as he cited Manchester City as an example, and shared his thoughts on the top-four race.
“Man City went on a run, and I know at the time they went on that run it was a long run, but nobody thought they were going to do it without Aguero or Jesus scoring goals,” said Henry.
“Everyone thought it was going to be difficult to come back without a striker scoring goals and dominating games the way they were dominating games.
“So, anyone can go on a run. As you saw, Liverpool went on a run the other way. Anything can happen.
“West Ham also there and thereabouts. So, whoever is going to have a run right now can make it. But who’s it going to be? Consistency is going to be key. But, yes it’s possible.”

Whilst Man City are running away with the Premier League title and one, and potentially two if you count West Brom, are more or less down, then it seems the drama at the end of the season will be for those European places.
Of course, Liverpool will charge for those Champions League places, but also winning the competition itself can help them maintain their status with the elite if there are more slip-ups in the league.
For Liverpool now, it’s a much-needed break for the players with the international break following the FA Cup next week, as they are next in action at the start of April when they face Arsenal.
