The West Ham United forward has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Everton.

West Ham ace Marko Arnautovic spoke to reporters after Austria’s 2-1 win over Northern Ireland last night, and responded emphatically when asked whether he is considering leaving the club for pastures new in January, as quoted by Football.London.

The 29-year-old’s future with the Hammers was plunged into doubt last week, when his brother and agent told Italian football expert Gianluca Di Marzio that his client is attracting interest from Everton and Chelsea amongst others.

Arnautovic joined West Ham from Stoke City in the summer of 2017, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £24 million, and he has gone on to chalk up 16 goals and nine assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.

The Austria international has become somewhat of a cult hero amongst the London Stadium faithful, and Manuel Pellegrini will surely be desperate to keep hold of the striker.

Arnautovic spoke to reporters last night, and insisted that he is only focused on West Ham, as quoted by Football.London:

“I don’t want to talk about it. I am concentrated on West Ham. We have a big game against Manchester City on Saturday and I am only thinking about this game and the following games and what is being said is not my business. My business is to perform on the pitch, to put in performances and that is what I want to do.”

Whilst the Hammers will obviously want to keep Arnautovic, as has been proven in football so often before, money talks, and if Chelsea or Everton come in with a mammoth bid for the forward, it will be interesting to see the east London outfit’s stance on the Austrian.
