West Ham United playmaker Manuel Lanzini has told the club’s official website that he is ‘very happy’ at the London Stadium amid speculation surrounding a possible move.
The Hammers swooped to land former River Plate starlet Lanzini on loan from Al Jazira Club in the summer of 2015, and he starred with six goals and two assists.
West Ham completed a permanent move for Lanzini last summer, and whilst he was solid if unspectacular in the first half of the season, he has really come into his own since the turn of 2017.
Dimitri Payet’s acrimonious move back to Marseille has given Lanzini added responsibility in the West Ham side, and he now has eight goals and two assists to his name this season.
Lanzini’s exploits in East London now appear to be triggering major interest ahead of the summer transfer window, with The Mirror claiming that Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all pursuing his signature.

West Ham have allegedly slapped a £30million asking price on Lanzini’s head, and The Mirror also noted earlier this week that Everton are also interested in the 24-year-old.
Having lost Payet at the start of the year, fans certainly won’t want to see Lanzini leave too, and he has today moved to reassure supporters about his future.

Lanzini has told the club’s official website that he has enjoyed a good season following Payet’s exit, and admitted that he is ‘very happy’ with the club despite speculation surrounding a summer departure.
“The season was good for me on a personal level,” said Lanzini. “At the beginning it was not great [as I suffered an injury on international duty in pre-season], but then I could achieve a good level. Dimi is a great player. He left and it was not a good news for the squad but luckily at the end I had a very good season.”
“[With the win over Tottenham], we achieved the points to stay in Premier League, which was the most important thing. We did not have a good start of the season, but now we need to think in the next game and the next season. For now, I am thinking of the next game then thinking of having good holidays with the family. I am very happy here,” he added.
