The West Ham United defender is a popular figure in east London.
West Ham ace Issa Diop took to Twitter yesterday, posting a picture showing him with his teammates Adrian and Felipe Anderson, and some Hammers fans responded to the Frenchman’s tweet.
The 22-year-old joined West Ham from Toulouse in the summer of 2018, for around £22 million, and he has already established himself as a firm fan favourite at the London Stadium.
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, Diop seems to be ideally built for the robust nature of the Premier League, and the Hammers obviously have one seriously good player on their hands.
The centre-back posted the below tweet to his official Twitter account yesterday, showing him and his teammates standing with the legendary ‘Irons’ pose:

West Ham will be trying to force their way inside the top seven between now and the end of the season, and if they are to have any chance of doing just that, Diop will have to be on his very best form over the next few months.
