West Ham ace Felipe Anderson spoke exclusively to the club’s official website about his start to life in east London, and admitted that he is loving playing in the left wing position.

The Brazilian has really impressed since joining the Hammers from Lazio in the summer for around £42 million, scoring six Premier League goals already.

Anderson has been allowed to flourish under Manuel Pellegrini’s attacking setup, and he really does seem to be loving life at the London Stadium.

His fine recent form has coincided with West Ham’s rise up the Premier League table, and with a win against Fulham today, Pellegrini’s men can climb as high as seventh in the table, should results elsewhere go their way.

Anderson spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and hinted that a change in position this season has been behind his excellent form:

“During my five years in Italy [with Lazio] I didn’t get to play much on the left wing but I am playing there now and it’s very well suited to my game because it allows me to exploit my vision, dribble, bring the ball inside, get assists and get shots away. In some ways it’s a new position for me and I’m really enjoying it and I’ve been reaping the rewards of that. Thanks to all the hard work I’ve been putting in, hopefully I can continue to improve and help the team move up the table.”

Anderson will be hoping to continue his fine recent run of form, and help fire West Ham back into contention for the Europa League spots.

The 25-year-old has made a fine start to life in England, but there is definitely still more to come form the talented South American.
