The West Ham United winger has begun life in England in impressive fashion.

West Ham ace Felipe Anderson sat down for an exclusive interview with Brazilian media outlet SPORTV yesterday, and suggested that Manuel Pellegrini moving him to the left side of midfield has assisted with his recall to the Brazil national team.
The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Lazio in the summer, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £42 million, and he has gone on to be a real hit at the London Stadium, chalking up nine goals and four assists in 32 appearances in all competitions thus far.
Anderson has started most games for West Ham in the left wing position, and his fine performances this season have earned him a call-up to the Brazil national team.
The Hammers ace was predominantly used as a right winger at Lazio, and he told Brazilian media outlet SPORTV yesterday how Manuel Pellegrini moving him to the left has been extremely beneficial to him:

“I played a lot of time in Italy, five years, always on the right. This year now at West Ham, I talked to the manager and he said he wanted me to play on the left, that he saw me very well there. And it worked.”
West Ham have every chance of finishing inside the top seven this term, and if Anderson finishes the season strongly, there is no reason why Pellegrini’s men cannot do just that.
