West Ham United are still deeply entrenched in a relegation battle.
Hammers ace Andre Ayew spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and urged his teammates to believe in David Moyes’ methods and philosophies, whilst admitting that the Scot’s words following his appointment as manager touched a lot of the first-team players.
West Ham are currently in a whole world of trouble, and sit precariously in 17th position in the Premier League table, just one point clear of the relegation zone, with more than half of the season already gone.
The east London outfit have undoubtedly improved since the 54-year-old took over, but there have been signs of their old habits creeping back into their game over the last two matches against Newcastle United and Bournemouth respectively.

Ayew spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and highlighted how the players need to believe in Moyes, and vice-versa, whilst opening up on the touching words the manager delivered to his players following his appointment last month:
“When you’re in a situation like this, when there is a change of manager, everyone is in a new situation. The gaffer has put his words in and those words touched a lot of players, so we need to follow what he wants us to do and how he wants us to do it, as we can see it is paying off. We need to believe in him, and get him to believe in us.”
Next up for the Hammers is a home game against 19th placed West Bromwich Albion, and if there ever was a six-pointer, this game is it.
Moyes’ men will be desperate for all three points, with Tottenham away just two days after their clash with the Baggies.
