Keita Balde’s loan spell at Inter Milan from Thierry Henry’s Monaco is not going to plan. Without a goal and only one assist in 13 games has seen reports suggest he could cancel his loan in January.

TuttoMercatoWeb claimed in the same report that the 23-year-old speed machine was interesting Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the January window, with Nuno Espirito Santo renowned for bringing in big-name, high-calibre players.

But since that report, West Ham are also said to have become interested in the 23-time Senegal international, with his loan spell at Inter looking more and more likely to be cancelled.

The same outlet claimed that Manuel Pellegrini’s side fancy chancing their arm on Balde, especially since Andriy Yarmolenko suffered a long-term injury which is set to keep the Ukraine international out until 2019.

Balde certainly boasts plenty of quality after scoring 31 goals and creating 26 more in 137 appearances for Lazio, with his breathtaking speed, eye-catching skills and an unwavering eye for goal making him a danger for all defenders.

A move to West Ham, though, would surely bring the best out of the forward – and that is because he would be able to team up with Felipe Anderson once again.

The Brazilian joined West Ham in the summer after months of extensive negotiations with Lazio’s president Claudio Lotito. With both players on the wings, Lazio boasted one of the most dangerous attacks in Serie A.

Combining the duo again would give the Hammers a lethal attack, not only because they have two players that are renowned for their quality, but because the duo have a chemistry that was founded at Lazio.
