West Ham and Stoke played out a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Saturday afternoon saw West Ham United hosting Stoke City at the London Stadium looking to improve upon slow starts to the season.
It proved to be an entertaining clash between the two as Bojan equalled Michail Antonio’s opener to see the two sides share the points.
It leaves the Hammers 15th in the table while the Potters remain in 12th place.
Payet came out on top in that comparison as he won in five of the eight areas we analysed. So how did the two players compare in the game? Here’s a look at how they got on…
| Match | Accurate Pass | Successful Final Third Passes | Total Att Assist | Passing Accuracy | Won Contest | Total Scoring Att | Ontarget Scoring Att | Goals | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dimitri Payet | West Ham vs Stoke | 34 | 16 | 7 | 77% | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 90 |
| Joe Allen | West Ham vs Stoke | 32 | 13 | 2 | 73% | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 90 |
As it turns out it was the Frenchman who was once again on top as he won in five areas once more.
He managed more accurate passes than Allen, 34 compared to 32, as well as more successful passes in the final third, 16 compared to 13.

He also posted more than treble the Welshman’s number of key passes, seven compared to two, and enjoyed a better overall passing accuracy.
Dribbling wise he was also superior, with his score of three contests won beating Allen’s tally of one.
The pair were level when it came to shots, one each, shots on target and goals, with neither managing to post anything in all the latter two areas.
