West Bromwich Albion kick off their Championship campaign against Bolton Wanderers at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion’s return to England’s second tier sees them entertain Bolton Wanderers at The Hawthorns on Saturday. Darren Moore’s side return to the Championship for the first time since 2010 and will be eager to get off to a winning start.
The Baggies are hotly tipped for an immediate return to the Premier League and they still have the majority of their squad from last season, at least for now.
Question marks hang over the futures of several first-team players but, despite this, West Brom have had a strong pre-season. Moore’s side was victorious in all but one game; even thrashing Coventry City 5-2 in the inaugural Regis Shield.
Harvey Barnes has come in on loan from Leicester City and has looked impressive so far, scoring twice against Coventry last Saturday.
Kyle Bartley also made the move to the West Midlands from fellow-relegated side Swansea City, adding much-needed experience to centre of defence. Tosin Adarabioyo is reported to be joining on loan from Manchester City, according to the Mail.

Phil Parkinson’s side had a tough time in the Championship and only narrowly avoided relegation, beating Nottingham Forest 3-2 on the last day. West Brom will be more than aware of the danger Wanderers pose but it is likely Moore will look to attack the visitors and force early pressure.
Matty Phillips is proven at this level and he will be a threat bombing down the right-hand side. Hal Robson-Kanu is likely to get the nod up front and Chris Brunt will skipper the side. New goalkeeper Sam Johnstone will take the gloves for the first time since signing from Manchester United.
