Matt Phillips scored for West Bromwich Albion against Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.
The 27-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a striker, is playing well for West Brom in the Championship at the moment.
The Scotland international has scored three goals and provided one assist in four league appearances for the Baggies so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Phillips, who joined West Brom from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £5.5 million, has revealed what manager Moore told him about his game this season.
The Scottish star has also responded to the hostile reception he got from the QPR fans at the weekend.
The 27-year-old winger featured in West Brom’s 7-1 hammering of QPR at The Hawthorns in the Championship on Saturday afternoon and scored twice.
Phillips told The Express & Star about Moore: “He gives you bags of confidence. He’s told me he can see me getting goals this season and hopefully that continues.”
The winger said regarding QPR fans’ hostile reception: “It doesn’t make any difference whether it’s an old club or not. As long as I’m contributing goals, I’m happy.”
Targeting promotion
West Brom got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, and the Baggies will be aiming to win automatic promotion.
Moore’s side have made a strong start to the season, and The Hawthorns faithful should be optimistic.
