West Bromwich Albion teenager Callum Pritchatt has confirmed he is departing the club.
The 19-year-old used his Twitter feed to thank staff and colleagues at the Baggies, where he has spent five years.
The left-back included a picture of the American flag on his Twitter post, hinting he is heading across the pond.
Pritchatt did not get as far as making West Brom’s first team, and featured irregularly for the under-23 team over the past year.
The youngster is set to turn 20 in October and his contract is due up this summer.
Moving on makes sense at this stage in order for Pritchatt to find a club where he can play regularly to progress his career.
Premier League teams are soon expected to confirm their released and retained lists, where Pritchatt’s departure from the Hawthorns will be formally announced.
