West Bromwich Albion defender Allan Nyom has lavished praise on manager Tony Pulis and his coaching methods, as reported by the Baggies’ official club website.
The 28-year-old full back was signed by Pulis from Watford in the summer, and the Cameroon international has gone on to make 22 Premier League appearances this season, impressing throughout the campaign.
Nyom has become an integral part of a defence which is currently the joint sixth best in the entire division, as West Brom continue to defy their critics who claimed they may struggle, with Albion currently sitting in eighth position.
They are currently well on course to eclipse their highest ever Premier League points tally of 49, and Nyom has credited this to Pulis’ management skills, while also claiming that his boss is assisting him learn a new position.

“Working under Tony has been good,” Nyom said, as reported by the club’s official website. “He’s a famous manager in England and his coaching methods are exceptional.
“We’re doing well as a result. We learn a lot from him as players. We learn to be intense in our approach and how to stay organised.
“I’m learning a new position which is always good. Tony wants our full-backs to get forward but not to lose defensive shape. It’s something I’ve been working on. I used to play right-back but I’m enjoying being at left-back – I’m developing all the time.”

West Brom have an excellent chance to close the four point gap between themselves and seventh placed Everton when they face each other at the weekend, and with seventh place looking likely to be a Europa League slot come May, it’s a game the Baggies can’t afford to lose.
Pulis’ side will also want to bounce back from their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in their last Premier League outing, which was their first home league loss of 2017.
