West Bromwich Albion are in need of finding a striker to lead their line effectively.

Phillips led the line for Scotland last night, and he got on the score sheet in a 1-0 victory over Hungary.
The rapid forward finished well from close range, and he generally impressed for his nation.
And the West Brom man said: “It’s a position a few people have said in the past that they can see me evolving into. We have done a lot of work on it in the last few days. There is obviously still work to be done but I enjoyed it.

“A lot of the time I am making a run into the channel to receive the ball so I end up in a position I am used to anyway. But then on the other hand as a striker you have to get in the box and get shots on target and score goals, and that’s something I will aim to do.
“Wherever the manager picks me on the pitch, I will do my best and give 100 per cent for the shirt.”
Phillips’ comments should give Alan Pardew food for thought back at West Brom.
The 27-year-old has generally been utilised out wide this season, but has not shown his top form.

However, West Brom are in dire need of a goalscoring forward, and Phillips may just have the potential to fill that role.
He will return to the Hawthorns full of confidence, and now may be the time for Pardew to experiment.
Moving Phillips up-front may be too little too late, but things can hardly get any worse for West Brom – and Pardew would be wise to give it a go, as Albion look to pull off a miraculous escape.
