West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City are both being linked with moves for the Manchester City striker.

West Bromwich Albion are being linked with moves for two Nigerian strikers this summer, but should prioritise one ahead of the other – and get one over a Premier League rival in doing so.
Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa is the latest reported Baggies target. However, according to the Daily Mail, the Foxes are looking to recoup the £18 million they paid for the player, who scored just four goals in 1,335 minutes of football this past campaign.

In contrast, the other, Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, hit seven in 899, and would reportedly cost just £2 million more [also Mail].
For a Baggies team whose top scorer, Salomon Rondon, was two goals short of double figures despite playing the most minutes of all three players in 2016-17 [3,021], such a move should be considered a no-brainer – especially with Leicester also said to be keen on Iheanacho.

And should West Brom’s apparent pursuit of 20-year-old end successfully, it would leave Leicester burdened with a player they are seemingly keen to see the back of – sufficient revenge, some might say, for the Foxes’ attempt to prise Jonny Evans away from the Hawthorns earlier this week.
Should West Bromwich Albion prioritise Ihenacho’s signing over Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa?
