West Bromwich Albion are reportedly set to be offered Dwight Gayle by Newcastle United, and they should bring the striker to the Hawthorns.

Newcastle have been keen on Rondon all summer, but have failed to get a deal over the line.
The Magpies now are said to be willing to offer Gayle out, and if the Baggies can bring in the front man then they should take it.

Gayle could be the man to fire West Brom to the top of the Championship, and his arrival could be the one which effectively seals their promotion.
If West Brom go into next season with a strike force made up of Jay Rodriguez and Gayle it will be unrivalled in the second tier.
Rondon, of course, has his qualities – which is why Newcastle want him.

But at Championship level, Gayle is a guaranteed scorer of goals and would surely net more frequently than Rondon over the course of the campaign.
Gayle has proven on countless occasions that he is simply too good for the second tier, and if West Brom could bring him in, then Darren Moore should jump at the opportunity.
