West Bromwich Albion are interested in Rob Edwards amid claims that he fancies taking the Middlesbrough job after leaving Watford.
The Baggies finally made the decision that many have been expecting as they sacked Steve Bruce on Monday.
One win in 13 to start the season just isn’t good enough for a club the size of West Brom and Bruce has paid the price with his job.
Names like Carlos Corberan and Chris Wilder have been mentioned, but there is another name in the mix.

West Bromwich Albion are interested in Rob Edwards
iNews now report that West Brom have shown an interest in appointing Rob Edwards as their new manager.
However, the report notes that Edwards is interested in becoming Middlesbrough boss having already held talks with the club last week.
Boro also hunting a new manager having sacked Chris Wilder last week and have been exploring a number of options, including Michael Carrick.
Yet with Carrick no longer in the picture, Edwards could return to being a key target for Boro as chase an appointment.
West Brom’s interest complicates matters for Boro and just shows that the two clubs are likely fishing in the same pond for a new manager.
Edwards, 39, hails from nearby Telford and is no stranger to the Black Country having played for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
As a manager, Edwards was in charge of the England Under-16’s before taking over at Forest Green Rovers in 2021.
Edwards guided them to promotion from League Two before being snapped up by Watford.
As we know though, managing Watford has pretty much no job security behind it and, sure enough, Watford sacked Edwards after just 11 games in the job.
Edwards won three, drew five and lost three of those 11 games which isn’t spectacular but isn’t terrible either.
Edwards has kept his reputation as a promising young manager though and West Brom seemingly believe that he could be the man for the job.
